3 Days Murchison Falls safari with Rhinos and Chimpanzee tour transfers you to Uganda's only rhino sanctuary known as Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary mainly for your rhino tracking activity. The tracking takes us 2-3hrs and later drive through Masindi town to Uganda's largest national park the "Murchison Falls national park" for the other four of the Big Five and other different animal and bird species. On the last day we transfer to Budongo Forest for a memorable chimpanzee tracking experience.

The "big five" adventure starts with the Rhinos in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary breeds tens of rhinos and habors a number of game including hippos, antelopes and crocodiles. Next is the morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park that completes the "big five" and experience lots of wildife including buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, jackson's hartebeests, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and leopards.
The afternoon boat ride on the Nile is ideal for wildlife sightings at very close range. The Nile is a habitat to lots of hippos, and crocodile and attracts a cocktail of birds and lots of animals that come to drink and refresh. There is no better way to complete this wildlife adventure than the forest experience in Budongo Forest. Budongo Forest habors lots of primates including the habituated chimpanzees, monkey species, baboons and a number of forest birds.
Have early breakfast and prepare for pick-up at 7:00 am to start the 6 - 7 hours drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Expect a brief stopover in Luwero to pick a couple of fruits (oranges, pineapples, passion fruits), continue and get to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
After a briefing from the ranger you trek the sanctuary for close to two hours. Return and drive to Masindi town for lunch at Masindi Hotel or Court View Hotel. After lunch drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Travel time: 6 hours (Kampala to Murchison)
Have an early morning breakfast, and set out for the game drive by 7:00 am. By this time you are able to catch the early risers as well as the nocturnals and hunters before they return to their hideouts. The Nile which flows through the park pides it into two sides, that is, the south and north.
The north is preferred for its abundance of wildlife compared to the south. In case your lodge is on the south side you shall drive to the ferry crossing to get to the other side and start the game drive. Explore the major game trials for great wildife sightigs including lots of game such as elephants, giraffes, antelopes, topis, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Jackson's Hartebeests, lions and the leopards among others.

Have early morning breakfast and transfer to Budongo Forest for the chimpanzee experience. Get to the briefing point and by 8:00 am set out for trek in Budongo Forest at Kaniyo Pabidi. In addition to the chimpanzees, the forest habors lots of monkeys, baboons and several forest birds. The experience could last as many as two hours.
Travel time: 6 hours (Murchison to Kampala)
NOTE: Avoid dressing in blue, white and black clothes as they may attract tse-tse flies.
