3 Days Lake Bunyonyi tour unveils the secrets of Lake Bunyonyi (Place of many little birds) that is located in south western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale close to the border with Rwanda. Located at 1,962m above sea level, it is about 25km long and 7 km wide. The depth of the lake is rumored to vary between 44m and 900m, which if true would make the lake the second deepest in Africa.

Hotel pickup - Your also returned back to your hotel.
It is one of the few lakes in the region that is free of bilharzia and safe for swimming. The lake appears on the 5,000 Ugandan shilling note under the title "Lake Bunyonyi and terraces".
After breakfast, drive from Kampala / Hotel. Stop over at the Drum Making section-(Mpambile), and another stop over at the Equator. Continue to Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Cultural Village or Agip Motel. Continue for a 3hrs drive to Kabale for Lake Bunyonyi.

Morning Canoeing, return for breakfast and lunch. Afternoon visit to the pygmy families.
Dinner and overnight on the lake at your lodge.
Morning breakfast, nature walk and a great view of Lake Bunyonyi. Drive back to Kampala. We shall have a chance of a stop over in Lake Mburo National Park and spot some zebras.
