Samburu national reserve is found about 345km from Nairobi. It is accessible by air and there are daily flights from Nairobi to the park's airport (Samburu Airport). The park is further gifted with a number of activities like game viewing that spots you to different wildlife species, bird watching the spots to a number of bird species like vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches, among others and many more.
Transfer to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to the country's north. You will pass over lush farmlands and catch glimpses of the glaciered slopes of Mount Kenya before dropping down to the arid country of the North and the Samburu Game Reserve.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to Larsen's Camp for a night stay on a fully inclusive basis. All meals and 2 game drives are included. Larsen's is a small and a very atmospheric tented Camp.
The guest enjoys a morning and late afternoon game viewing with a break for lunch at the camp and an afternoon spent at leisure Samburu is located north of the central mountains and the equator. This fascinating arid reserve is home to Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe, as well as Oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and dik dik.
You will also have an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.
Transfer to Samburu airport for the scenic flight back to Nairobi's Wilson Airport for your move or program.
